Who am I?

I am a youth development soccer coach, making a transition into the world of Inbound Marketing. Over the course of the last 7 years, I built my reputation (brand) as a coach. As I became more and more established and my client base grew, my mission shifted towards helping other soccer programs grow. That’s when I became an integral part of Sporting Club Premier FC (www.scpfc.com) and began focusing on creating the best soccer brand in the area. From organizing tournaments and training programs, to posting and engaging with customers via social media, I paid attention to the simple cost effective details that would help us grow. For example, sharing our content with customers that are likely to share it on their own personal page (maybe it’s a post about their son or daughter doing well as we like to recognize accomplishments) has yielded great results in terms of exposure and engagement!


I am more than passionate about marketing; I am fascinated by it. I understand what it means to be part of a team and possess the leadership qualities to embrace any role. And I have the determination and drive to always get the job done.

Whether its reading about different marketing trends, taking HubSpot Certification courses, or watching Gary Vaynerchuk’s talks on YouTube, I find myself constantly wanting to learn more about marketing. I enjoy it so much that I created a coaching vlog called Two Coaches to help our content marketing at SCP FC!!

Leadership

As a youth development coach, not only do I have to display leadership in order to take charge of many different groups, but I also teach leadership, as it’s an important aspect of success in sports and in life. As a leader I’ve found that it’s more important to operate from the perspective every member of the team has value, rather than believing that you are the most important piece since you are at the top. Famous marketing consultant, Simon Sinek, gave a TED talk called, “How Great Leaders Inspire Action,” where he talks about how to lead from a branding perspective. I subscribe to his idea of, “People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it.” Ted Talk

Determination & Drive

I see determination as a mentality and drive as performing the action. Every professional accomplishment that I have achieved so far began as an idea. I wanted to become a professional soccer coach so I went to a local soccer field every day introduced myself to every coach that came by, until finally someone asked me to assist them briefly during a training session. From carrying equipment at local soccer camps, to working for the New York Red Bulls, to serving as the Director of Marketing and Programs for SCP FC, I believe that with the proper determination and drive, results are limitless.
